White Nights Vodka Tasting
July 17, 2014 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Cafe St. Petersburg, Newton Centre
BRCP presents a tasting dedicated to the legendary Eastern European spirit! Join us July 17th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm to sample a carefully curated group of vodkas from the catalogue of Select Wine Imports, and take a virtual tour through the Vodka Belt.
Explore diverse styles of the spirit as well as high-quality brands that you can enjoy today. Among the vodkas on tasting will be ones made from a variety of grains and from potatoes, produced in diverse countries, some infused with different savories or sweets, and even barrel-aged!
Accompanying the spirits will be traditional food pairings called 'zakuski' (literally, after-bites) from
Cafe St. Petersburg's excellent kitchen. At 7:30 pm there will be a brief presentation about vodka etiquette.
Tickets include generous tasting pours of eight or more high-quality vodkas and authentic food pairings (zakuski). More details about tasting line-up and menu coming soon.
