An unforgettable evening of performances, dancing, and a gala dinner honoring David Hoose, conductor, professor, and Music Director of the Cantata Singers.
Enjoy a feast for all the senses and help support the BRAI's mission of co-operation and exchange in the arts between the US and post-Soviet countries! The inspiration for this year's ball is the Ballets Russes ballet, The Midnight Sun (Le Soleil de Nuit), which premiered a century ago in Geneva.

Rimsky-Korsakov Circle (Dancing Tickets) : $100* ($30 tax deductible)
Admission from 8 pm. Includes dancing, performance, dessert. Cash bar.
Diaghilev Circle (Dining Tickets): $300* ($175 tax deductible)
Admission from 6 pm. Includes reception, dinner and all benefits of the Rimsky-Koorsakov Circle. Purchasers of two or more tickets will be recognized in the evening's program.
* $25 discount for purchases made before October 15.
Larionov Circle (4-pack Dining/ Half Table): $1000 ($600)
Recognition in the program, half table for your group at dinner. All benefits of Diaghilev Circle for your group.
Sun-God Circle (Table of 8 or 10): $2000/$2500 ($1200/$1500)
Recognition in the program, premium table for dinner, front-row seating for performances. All benefits of Diaghilev Circle for your group. Plus two additional Dancing Tickets.

The board of the Ballets Russes Arts Initiative has chosen to recognize David Hoose for his contributions to presenting the work of composers from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union to Boston audiences, as well as his lifetime of conducting and teaching.

Some History:
The Midnight Sun (Le Soleil de Nuit), was a ballet that was premiered by the Ballets Russes in Geneva in 1915, and set to Rimsky-Korsakov's opera Snegourotchka.
